Certain objects are not replaceable.

They are entrusted. They carry history, craftsmanship, and often quiet emotional and financial weight — whether inherited across generations or carefully acquired. Placing such a piece in someone’s hands requires certainty. This work is built on that responsibility.

Led by Magdalena Urbanczyk, an artist and conservator with more than three decades of experience, the studio approaches every object through careful assessment of its structure, materials, original finishes and previous interventions. Treatment is guided by conservation principles rather than cosmetic transformation.

Original material is preserved wherever possible. Repairs are restrained, compatible and historically informed. The aim is not to make an antique look new, but to restore stability, coherence and dignity while allowing its age and history to remain visible.

What is entrusted here is treated with respect for what it has been — and for what it may continue to become.
